July 21, 2010 was one of the best days of my life. I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. I love being a mother. It feels like it has been forever since I left the friendly skies, but I do not regret it at all. I love watching her experience the world around her. It truely is amazing. During my 6th month of pregnancy I was contacted by Spirit Airlines about an interview. Being as far along as I was it wouldn't have made sense for me to go, so I explained the situation and thanked them for the call.

I am planning on starting to fill out some applications when my daughter is about 8 months old. I am excited at the thought of flying again. I am not looking forward to the idea of sitting reserve again, but I know other flight attendants who make it work. Hope everyone is doing well. I still enjoy your blogs.

Where Have I been?

I've been so busy in the past months I forgot to let you all know what happened. My fatigue was denied, which I appealed. But I ended up leaving the airlines for a different kind of life. I met the man of my dreams and we are now engaged and expecting our first child. I was lucky and became Tampa based for one month, but couldn't stand the thought of leaving James for ATL and the crazy life of reserve. It was a hard desision because being a flight attendant was my dream, but I can always go back and when I do I'll have a family to support me.

Good luck to everyone in the friendly skies. I'll be a stay at home mom for awhile. Who knows maybe I'll start a new blog, "The Secret Life of a Stay At Home Mom." ;)
